Health and hygiene



A healthy person can play, study and work properly, a good health requires fitness of mind and body. You become sick if your body is not healthy. Can you study or play when you become sick? Clean and fresh food, water, and balanced diet make us healthy. There are server ways to healthy living.
Poster
   The way in which you hold your body while walking, sitting, and standing is known as posture. Right posture maintains self confidence.
- While sitting, we should make our neck and back straight.
- While standing, we should stand erect with our neck straight.
- While walking, our body should be erect and arms should swing.
 Physical exercise
              A regular physical exercise is needed to make our body healthy, strong, fit and slim. Walking, running, and plying games are some simple physical exercises.
Rest and sleep
  After studying, plying, and working, your body gets tired. What will you do when you get tired? You have to take a rest. Rest helps your body to remove stress and get some energy.
  We should sleep eight hours a day. Children need more sleep than adults. Eight hours of sleep provides enough rest for refreshing our body to work again.

Hygiene
             The practice of keeping ourselves and our surroundings clean is known as hygiene. Many types of germs are around us which may cause diseases and might make us sick. So, personal hygiene is necessary to maintain good health. There are some rules of personal hygiene.
-we must wash our hands with clean water and soap before and after eating, and after the toilet
- bathing regularly removes germs and dirty from our body.
- We should wash (dirty) clothes that we wear regularly.
- We should brush our teeth twice a day.
- we should trim our nails regularly.
- We should use our own towel and handkerchief.
- Hair should be cleaned and combed daily.
- We should change our undergarments regularly.

Care of ears
            Wax inside the ears should be removed regularly with the use of cotton buds, Do not put any sharp objects inside the ears.
Care of nose
We should breathe through nose not through mouth. Nose should be cleaned with the help of a clean handkerchief. Do not put fingers or any other objects inside the nose (holes) pores

 Care of eyes
         Eyes should be cleaned with cold water in the morning. Do not rub eyes with clean water. Do not read books in dim light and do not watch T.V. from a near distance. If there’s any problem, consult your doctor.

Care teeth
Teeth are very useful to us. We cannot chew food without teeth. Teeth also help us to speak and give shape to our mouth. How many teeth do you have now? Do you brush your teeth twice a day? We have two types of have now? Do you brush your teeth twice a day? We have two types of teeth during our life time, I.e. milk teeth and permanent teeth. Milk teeth begin to fall off after the ages of six and then permanent teeth are developed teeth are of different shapes. The outermost covering layer of teeth is called enamel.
                        When we eat food, some food particles may remain between the spaces of two teeth. Due to this acid is formed, which causes cavity, i.e. tooth decay. If also causes bad breath. We should follow some health rules to protect our teeth.
-brush teeth twice a day
-do not eat food that consists of much sugar.
-Eat plenty fresh fruits and vegetables.
-do not drink too much hot or cold drink.
- visit the dentist regularly.

Use of toilet
We should make proper toilet habits. A dirty toilet is a breeding place for germs that many cause severl types of diseases like diarrhea, dysentery, typhoid, etc. the germs may transfer from the toilet to uncovered food  materials through files. Eating these contaminated foods causes diseases that make us sick.

We should wear slippers while going to toilet. We should always wash our hands with soap and clean water after using the toilet.
